Nomination for "European Science Journalist of the Year Award"

I am honored that I was nominated for this years "European Science Journalist of the Year Award", together with nine other journalists from all over Europe. This week the finalists were announced (and I am not part of them). Never mind. Congratulations to Niki Korteweg from The Netherlands, Dániel Bolcsó from Hungary, and Lea Udovč from Slovenia! I look forward to reading their in-depth science reporting soon. In a world of multiple crisis and ongoing polarisation, compelling science-based journalism is more crucial than ever.
